Outcome alone
“Did I make money?”
The result is visible. The behavior behind it is missing.

CONCEPT → PRODUCT → COMMUNITYThe Consistency Lab
I turned a problem in my own trading into a digital product that helps traders see the quality of their decisions beyond the dollars they win or lose.
01 / The origin
As a newer trader, I needed to track my progress. But the P&L calendar I was using was messing with my performance.
A red square told me I had lost money. It didn’t tell me whether I had followed my plan, managed my emotions or taken a valid setup. Yet it still felt like a failing grade.
That feeling could carry into the next session: pressure to make it back, hesitation on a good opportunity, or a decision driven by yesterday’s result. A normal loss could become the starting point for another poor day.
I needed a way to review my trading that helped me show up better tomorrow.
The original scoreboard
Every day is framed by dollars won or lost. The calendar shows the outcome, but it doesn’t explain the quality of the decisions behind it.
A red day tells you what happened to your money. It doesn’t tell you whether you traded well.
The problem I wanted to interrupt
02 / The product idea
The unmet need was specific: a scoreboard for developing traders who needed to judge how they traded, even when the outcome told a different story.
Outcome alone
The result is visible. The behavior behind it is missing.
Consistency Lab
Give disciplined decisions credit. Make mistakes visible.
The key product decision: make execution the primary feedback signal. Keep financial results available as context, while helping traders identify behavior they can repeat or change.
03 / Designing the experience
I kept the familiar rhythm of daily, weekly and monthly review, then changed the question the interface asks at each step.
Five scoring categories give “trade better” a practical meaning: rules, emotion, setup, context and execution.
Daily grades, weekly summaries and process streaks make disciplined execution something a trader can track over time.
Analytics surface recurring mistakes and execution gaps so the next session can start with a specific focus.
04 / Inside the product
The finished experience connects a process scorecard with deeper analysis. Each view answers a question that a red or green square can’t answer on its own.

See beyond the balance
Performance analytics compare execution categories and process trends. Luck vs. Discipline adds another lens: how the quality of the process relates to the result.
A winning trade shouldn’t hide a habit that needs attention.

Find the next improvement
Execution and capture metrics reveal the gap between an opportunity and what the trader captured. Mistake, loss and break-even analysis help turn a vague frustration into something specific to review.
The interface helps the trader move from self-judgment to investigation.

05 / The outcome
Using the app significantly improved my own trading experience and performance. That gave me a reason to put it into other traders’ hands.
I released Consistency Lab free to members of my trading Discord community. A personal frustration had become a working product that other traders could use to review their own process.
This is an early product story: personal use, a complete app and a community release. My experience is the starting point, not a claim of measured results across other traders.
The idea became a usable scorecard and connected analytics experience.
Released to trading Discord members with no separate app subscription.
Community access creates the opportunity to learn how the product works for others.
06 / My role & capabilities
I combined product strategy, UX, design and development to take Consistency Lab from a personal frustration to a working app.
AI tools accelerated the design and coding. I supplied the user insight, set the direction and connected the pieces into a coherent product.
From identifying the need to putting the product in my community’s hands.
Identified the unmet need and made execution, rather than daily P&L, the product’s primary feedback signal.
Shaped a daily review flow that connects scoring, reflection and a clear focus for the next session.
Turned the concept into a visual system of calendars, grades, streaks and analytics.
Connected the interface and underlying functionality into a working trading application.
Directed AI tools through design and coding, using my development background and firsthand trading context.
Built the website’s story around the trader’s frustration, the different approach and the product that delivers it.
Released the app free to my trading Discord members, bringing the product to the people it was designed to help.
07 / What this demonstrates

I recognized the gap between having more trading data and getting feedback that helped me make better decisions.
I translated that insight into a clear product concept, a usable interface and the functionality behind it.
I connected the app, its positioning and a community release so the work could reach the people it was built for.
Your next product
If you need someone who can understand the user, shape the product and execute the work, that’s what I bring.
For a client, that means a partner who can move an idea toward something people can use. For a hiring manager, it means someone who can connect strategy, design and implementation—and take ownership across them.
